Our Mission
Yokefellowship Prison Ministry is dedicated to bringing hope and healing to those impacted by incarceration. Our mission is to support and uplift inmates, returning citizens and at-risk youth to yoke themselves to Christ for salvation and changed lives through our various ministries. By offering a message of redemption and restoration, we aim to break the cycle of incarceration and transform lives.
Our commitment is to enhance their lives through caring fellowship, disciplined living and intentional ministry accomplished by:
Modeling and sharing the life-transforming truth of God’s Word.
Helping participants understand and apply the Word of God to their lives, as well as specific situations.
Encouraging participants in their walks.
Providing practical advice dealing with prison life and preparing for re-entry and transitioning into society.
Our Guiding Values
Our mission is deeply intertwined with the fundamental principles known as the Marks of a Yokefellow and the Essence of Yokefellowship. These guiding values form the bedrock of our work within correctional facilities. By embodying these principles, we aim to uplift and encourage individuals who are incarcerated, offering them a sense of dignity and hope in what can be a bleak and isolating environment.
